September 26, 2006 What will heaven be like if blessings on earth can be so wonderful? When surrounded by brothers and sisters in Christ is so uplifting, encouraging and a powerful blessing to you now, can Heaven be anything less? Our family was blessed to have the Board Members families here for the September 23rd Board Meeting. Joseph Graber came along side of us as staff to help channel the high level energy of the children while the adults focused on the direction the Lord is taking FACE Ministries and all of the ministries opportunities before us through Camp Winchester, Seale Sisters, Kings daughters and Winchester Choir. Saturday evening after the meeting almost all the Board families traveled to Lockhart for a Gospel Sing and wonderful BBQ at Chisholm Trail BBQ restaurant. Again, we were lifted up through the ministry of music of local talent and Tom Finfrock, a man of God who loves to be close to Jesus and the organizer of the Gospel Sing. As director, I can not wait to be absorbed in the love of Jesus at our next Board meeting and experience a little taste of heaven while still on earth. Byron Seale - Director
June 19, 2006 Hello All! I'm here to report that our first summer camps, (Horse Lovers Girls' Camps I & II) went super well! The Lord blessed us with fabulous weather both weeks - nice breezes, clear skies... warmth! : ) And we didn't have but a couple splinters and scratches to band-aid. I'll have to admit, we were a little anxious to see how the horses would hold out, this being a first for most all of them at something like this. They behaved famously and we were so proud of them. PTL!!! We so loved all of the girls... 13 during our first camp and 12 for the second... It was a blast getting to know each one of them... We had our serious moments learning together, not only horse care, safety and riding skills, but also how to be a servant for the Lord, what it means to be a 10 in God's eyes on a scale of beauty, and how to wait for the Lord's timing in difficult areas in our lives. But as we went around, participating in different activities, most all of us would find ourselves breaking out in songs or corny jokes we learned from Elisabeth, spontaneously. I do know for a fact, though, that there is no way that without the Lord's help, we could ever have prepared this piece of property in the short amount of time that we did, or could have run our first summer program as smoothly as we did. We praise and thank Him with everything in us. Also, working alongside of us during the two weeks and beforehand, were the Boaz family... Simon & Mary, Charity, Kayla and Jacob. Hand in hand, prayer by prayer, we focused to be the Lord's servants. We're already planning for next year!... Hope to see you there! Hannah Seale
